Fabric sourcing for sustainable fashion brands

Fabric sourcing for sustainable fashion brands

Regular price €200,00

Finding options for sustainable fabrics, vegan sustainable leather, accessories, and packaging is one of the biggest challenges faced by sustainable fashion brands, right?

During the activities of our sustainable fashion innovation program, we notice that this was one of the main difficulties faced by our students.

With this in mind, we created a sustainable sourcing strategy that allowed us to expand our database of organic fabric suppliers from Europe.

Thus we created the Fabric Sourcing Service to help students of The Slow Fashion Program and other sustainable makers to find sustainable materials for their projects.

Through this initiative, we will help you find more sustainable and easily accessible solutions for your collections.

This service includes research about the different kinds of sustainable fabrics suitable for your product, presenting you the different options in terms of composition, MOQ's, prices, finishing, etc.

 You can find options like:

- recycled and reclaimed fabric;
- GOTS certified fabrics suppliers;
- natural fiber suppliers
- biodegradable packaging options

- Hemp fabrics;

- Modal fabrics;
- Recycled lycra fabrics;
- Organic cotton fabrics;
- Organic linen fabrics;
- Cupro fabrics;
- Sustainable packaging

Prices:
Sustainable fabrics sourcing

100 Euro: a sustainable fabric selection made by the client based on specifications of fabric composition and weight. 10 fabric samples from 5 different suppliers (you can choose fabrics and grammage)

Vegan Leather Sourcing
100 Euro: a vegan leather selection made by the client based on specifications of fabric composition and applications (shoes, bags, or accessories). 5 vegan leather samples from 5 different suppliers.

How it works:
1- you fill our survey with specifications of fabrics composition, grammage, quantity, the origin of fiber, the origin of fabric, and certifications.
2 - we will research for the sustainable fabrics with your specifications and we will contact you back to let you know if we have founded available suppliers for the fabrics that you are looking for (takes from 1 to 2 weeks)
3 - we will send you pictures about the available options
4 - you will confirm on each one are you interested
5 - we will pay for this service
6 - we will send you the list with suppliers' contacts and references from the fabrics that you choose with the direct links where you can order (free or by charge) samples
7- In case of suppliers without online stores where you can order samples we will send you pre-written e-mails with the specifications of your fabrics so that you can send it to the address from the commercial agent that we have contacted.
8 - We will also inform you if the suppliers from your choice offer special conditions for our clients and students (such as discounts, vouchers, free samples, flexible, MOQ's, leftovers, etc).

NOTE 1: at the moment this service is included without extra costs on The Slow Fashion Innovation Program MODULO 1 (with mentoring).

NOTE 2:  if you like us to order the samples first and then pack and ship to our office or house, there is an extra cost of 100 EUR referring to ordering + tagging and labeling + packaging + shipping. This is a manual service and takes a lot of time from us and CO2  unnecessary emissions, packaging, and shipping for two different places instead of one. If you do it by yourself you just need to order the sample,  if we do we have to follow all the other unnecessary steps. So the total for this service would be 300 for external clients instead of 200 EUR and 100 EUR instead of FREE for our students
